I've recently acquired a QUAD 33 pre amp , LEAK T 12 power amp+ and LEAK POINT ONE amp ( for (for 550 UK p ounds).
1. Which configuration would you use in this case ? 2. Is the mono sound really different (I mostly listen to Classic and Jazz ). 3. what do you think about a QUAD 240 power amp as compared to my current QUAD 33 ? 4.. any comments on the price ... Many Xmas greetings Yours Audio - virgin. |

You are talking of very old (50 years+) mono tube designs right? Perhaps it would be better to post your interest in the Tube amplifier
forum where more guys will appreciate the issues and value of your purchases. Being a DIY forum, you might not get the same enthusiasm for vintage equipment here, that you find on forums for collectors rather than builders.
