Well, I would recommend the Outlaw Audio RR2150, even though it is a receiver rather than an amp. You can get one of their b-stock ones for about $649. The RR2150 does quite well, in my opinion. You might find something cheaper, if a new item is a requirement, but I think that most cheaper amps can't provide enough current regardless of their claims about driving lower impedance speakers.
Best "Bang for Buck" is the Odyssey Khartago, list is $1000, but there could be B stocks at half that, you will have to call Klaus Bunge and inquire. Used units ocassionally appear on audiogon, but are quickly snatched up. High current amp, I drive a pair of big Thiels with it and does a great job. A true "high end" amp at a low price.
