Default BIAMP TC120

I picked up a BIAMP TC120 off ebay for cheap because it needs work. I'd never heard the brand name, but it's an old (70's) 3U, 2ch PA or studio amp. Apparently BIAMP made a lot of these types of amps over the years for PA and permanent install applications.

Schematic is availble from BIAMP here: http://c353616.r16.cf1.rackcdn.com/T..._Schematic.pdf

Simple opamp based input stage, darlington VAS, class AB output stage with two pair of MJ15003/04.

The amp should be waiting for me when I get home, so I'll be cracking it open and taking pics.

The TC120 arrived as promised. Mechanically, it's built well.

Transformer is 450-550VA guessing by size/weight. This unit seems to be built pretty closely to schematic I linked to. It has had some work done to it in the past: the MJ15004 on Ch B are not original, and the driver is an NTE device. The output stage on that side will probably need a complete rebuild, especially considering that was the troubled channel according to the Ebay ad.

Tested the power supply with no load and a lightbulb limiter... Looks to be ok. Filter caps may even have some life left.
