I have a JVC A-X9 solid state amplifier which uses 4 pairs of 2SC2525 / 2SC1075 output transistors originally. That some of them are burnt out I plan to replace them with 2SC2922 / 2SC1216 pairs. I can find 2SC2922-83G and 2SC1216-24Y, but hfe raitings of the pairs mismatch (G:90 Y:50). Does it make a problem?

I would doubt its an issue. hfe selection and hfe "ranks" were commonly seen in many Japanese items.
From a practical point you should use a "bulb tester" to limit current. I would also replace the driver transistors as a matter of course as these have a habit of failing intermitently. Also check all the PCB for poor joints. Also there will be many more modern devices that can be used.
