Default Soundstandard ES200 schematics anyone ??

Hi Folks

Iīm trying to repair an Soundstandard ES200 Pa amplifier (China made supposed).

Upon power up, both protect ledīs go off, output relays close and one channel works as supposed. When I raise the input potentiometer of the faulty channel, just one or 2 degreees, instead of the green led, the red clip led illuminates and at the same time the protect led also. The channel relay doesnīt open as supposed to and no sound comes out on this channel.

Driver stage consisting of IRF640 on one side and IRF9640 on the other , also some MJE 350 / 340 pre-drivers ??

Many 2L and G1 smd transistors on board.

Iīsuppose the faulty output stage isnīt burned, since I have very little DC at the output (same on the other channel) , no pops on speaker no hum and i can hear a faint distorted signal at the output, but it can be just crosstalk. Voltages are there, fuses arenīt burned, no suspicious burns or schorts on board. Iīve checked the thermal protections Airpax 67F100 and they are open, but it seems something is muting the signal. Iīve changed input connectors on the output stages, so this rules out the pre-amp stage.

Since it is a mosfet amplifier, can it be that all mosfets are open, or do they usually burn short ??

If anyone could provide a shematic or give me some ideas, Iīwould be very gratefull.

Thank You

Just found an open 12K 5W resistor inside and replaced it. There are a few of those. They get hot and are cooled by two fans.

Ok this amp worked since my last post, It is used for ambient background music on a wedding farm connected to suspended speakers, but last week I've noticed the same behavior, I don't know if it's the same amp I repaired since they have 2 of them.

My question is could I replace the same resistor with two 3 or 5W in parallel doubling the resistance ? I'm afraid if one of them gets open the circuit following would melt.

The schematic would help me identify the resistor's role inside that amp.

The board is attached to the backside of the heatsink, components faced up. Fins bolted to the bottom. This resistor is on the middle of the board and the fans are on the back side blowing air, lower fan side to the heatsink fins, upper fanside to the board. The upper and lower covers complete the "tunnel" for fins and board cooling.

Update 2

Is was the same 22K (I presume 3W since it's smaller than ordinary white 5W) and not 12K resistor but on the other channel. The first repaired channel was OK. Now the second works also.

On the board there is written SAE Design ES500 Output stage. I noticed there is room for more transistors but they aren't populated.
