Default Rega Brio-R design

Does anyone know what the late 1960s design feature is "reinvented" in the Brio-R?
The spec looks fairly normal with moderate distortion, so to me the candidates are:
1) Output triples and single ended error amplifier ie an updated Quad303
2) That is when the so called Baxendale diode appeared, so maybe a quasi-comp.

The marketing talks about Class A driver and AB output, but that applies to almost anything
