Default How to repair and diagnose amp problem?

Hi everyone,

I have a parasound A21 that has no more warranty. Left channel heatsink is stone cold and there's sound coming out from left channel, but it's soft and distorted.

Tried swapping speaker outputs on amp side and now the other speaker has the problem.

I have the schematics - not sure if it's appropriate to post it up here. What is the likely cause of the problem and how should i go about fixing it? I sent an email to Tony @ parasound already, waiting for his reply.

I'm anxious to know what the DIY community thinks
