how to match the Transistors like toshiba 5200 1943

how to match the transistors?
if it just a pair of transistors at the output then does it really required to match them? especially BJTs?

i heard many saying that if its a pair then its fine going with unmatched but when cascading then its required. Is it true?

Best is to match and how much to compromise is upto the individual.

U have to visit sound.westhost.com

Most of your questions are answered on that site, including how to match the power transistors.

take a fluke dmm or such and measure BC and BE.
if they are close to each other they are good to go.
try and purchase the same batch number on the n and p, that is the best you can do.
