Hi,

I would like to build an amplifier with two transformers I have lying around.

2x Hammond 167P50, 50V CT (cant split the two outputs to parallel), 250VA

I would like to get ready made PCBs to reduce building time.
I am an EE with technical background and I have a weller soldering station, scope and multimeter.

If possible id like to try a class A amp, I will build a pair of high efficiency speakers to go with it (if required but usually class A are very good to warm the place up in our cold winter, with 250VA not much left for the sound)

My source would be my computer running FLAC trough SPDIF (requires a $$ converter) or my Cowon MP3 player that also plays FLAC. So I guess a preamp would be a good thing too.

After I can compare my results to my Yamaha HTR6290 running on Polk audio RTI A7.

Thank you
