Have you set the quiescent current on these resistors?hi
any one here build the SUPER A ..
1- the heat sink gets very hot with the 10R resistor in place of the fuse(voltage drop is 2.3v?
Are your heat sinks sufficiently sized?
yes sir .. i did..mr carlos said to adjust till the drop is 2.3 volt
i think the heat sink size is sufficient i left it running for a bout 3 hours with no run a way or even skin burn... i don't have temperature meter but i guess the temperature is not less than 40 or 45 degree centigrade

How would this amp preform at +36vdc, 0vdc & -36vdc as I have a ready made transformer
and power supply board? I am viewing your brds and You Tube videos and need that flat pack transistor set up for a very large heat sink and old NEC box I have laying around.
My power supply is dual + & - but 10vdc under your specs.

36V rails are good for DX Blame ST, for instance.

- Amplifiers
- Solid State
- Dx Blame ST together Dx Super A
