2SA970/C2240 and similar parts are currently already used in many DIYAudio circuits - they have been used by DIYs for decades.
2SB737 and 2SA1316 are long obsolete and unobtanium. Just check any genuine parts supplier's inventory.
Naturally, there are fakes produced by unknown manufacturers that will not perform to specification - beware of NOS
or cheap non-Toshiba or Rohm parts. The following threads are just a couple that discuss availability and price of such old parts.
