Default Replace NAD 3020 resistors

Starting another Nad 3020 recapping and I wonder if replace all resistors too could be a major improvement. A french guy replace all of them with Takman and people swear about his (absolutely not cheap) results.

Default Resistor substitutions

First you need to be certain that just changing resistors really makes any difference in this quality of amplifier. Many modders report all their parts changes as "much better". I never see any mod. freak say otherwise, so what is real and what is just expectation and BS?

If you want to experiment, use a better quality amplifier to start with so that you can hear differences above the high noise and distortion already present in 3020s. This will surely mask any extremely subtle changes in parts/brand quality that you hope will offer sound improvements.

Odds of improvement are random, even if you could hear the difference between resistors in a controlled test, so think about 10% maybe better, 10% maybe worse, 80% no change. Are these good chances?

Recapping is a good idea but replacing the resistor is more a waist of time and money.
How old is your 3020 ?
Mine is a 3020i and was build in 1976 so yours must be older.
