Default Pioneer SA 9500mk1 arching sound

I changed 6 nos of 2SC1451 transistor for the amplifier. After i changed the transistor serious arching sound started to occur when i turn the volume knob and switches on the left channel.

The amplifier was working fine before i changed the transistor.

Anyone can help ??

I guess I have to ask why if the amplifier was working correctly you changed the transistors? Not fundamentally like tubes where differences in construction details might affect their perceived performance, no such mechanism exists in transistors that are not otherwise defective.

Look for anything that might have been disturbed during the swap and look for cold solder joints.

I have no clue what "arching" sounds like, did you mean "arcing" or something altogether different?

Yeah. A guy on AudioKarma tried to restore a SX-780, and replaced the original working STK packs with fakes (accidentally) Why replace working fine semiconductors??? They don't age like capacitors or tubes.
