haha its just i have to buy all the parts and i was piecing the boards the other day and they were reaching around $100 and with the transformer that's another $70 let alone the case im eying that is going to cost $270.

You could assemble a classic that will last a long time or do a quickie

If the case is worth $270, whats inside should be worth at least the same

So your amp could be worth ~$1000.
A break down
$20 * 20 hours = $400
Parts = $540
Friend come in listens and loves it , wants it = $ ?

so here is my plan im going to go.

Transformer

AN-6232

Bridge Rectifier
GBPC3510 Fairchild Semiconductor | Mouser

Power Caps
380LX682M063K042 Cornell Dubilier | Mouser x6

out to the pair of boards with the MJH6284


the case im looking at is this

this amp was in exit just TIP142
do not have TIP147?
can this work in 2 ohm load?

Hmmm--- Not happened alot. Just picked up a old Nad 216thx amp. Will take out the internals and populate some 1diffqc boards and make them fit into the chassis.. Well that is the plan.

Well i got my transformer and all the power supply boards but since my truck is almost dieing on me and holidays coming up this is taking the back burner for the time being.
