I am in dire need of a print for a Crate PCM 8 powered mixer, I saw some posts on here talking about it. If someone could help I will be eternally grateful. rvaughn@cinci.rr.com.
thanks

It has a number of files. What part are you fixing?
If they discover this is a PA amplifier, they may move your thre4ad down to that section, so look there if you can't find it at some point. Is this schematic fitting your unit. This is the power amp only - most likely failure area. Due to file limits on this board, I can;t add other drawings. |

It is pa amp/mixer, I think that the schematic you sent is dead on for the power amp thanks a million

Well as usual I was wrong, at first glance the number of fuses and output transistors, and power supply voltage are right but NOTHING else is the same.
Mine is an early model, althought there is no date anywhere, could it be that all the components were revised. |

I posted the PCM8+ hoping the power amp would be the same. APparently not?
You have a plain old PCM8. I don;t have that scanned in. By the time I can get it out and get to my other computer, you can just get the drawing from the factory. Have your model number and serial number from the tag on the amp, and call Loud Technologies and ask for the schematics. They may ask you to agree not to post them online, but that is OK, we can deal with that on this end. |

Called the number got the right print within 15 min. or so, wish I had a board layout, but we can't have everything. Seems like q8 and q9 might be the problem. Thanks again Enzo, if we ever meet I'll buy you a beer.

I'll see what I can find. Or call Loud again, thank them for the schematic and ask if the layout page for that board is also in their files. The layout should include a parts list.

ENZO-guys,I have the whole thing.12 pages from front to back.I forgot I had ordered this thing when I blew out my phantom power circuit. Just had to locate it which I just did because believe it or not at my gig last night I blew up channel 2 with my acoustic guitar because the feed to my tuner was laying on the ground and I sent a crap load of DC right into the front end. Goodbye op amp. Now how to get it from paper to PC.These pages are big.I'll see what Staples can do guys.
