Default Source for 2SA1208/2SC2910 in Europe?

Hi Diyers,

I'm looking for a source for the any of these (pairs) in Europe (in low numbers):

- 2SC3423/2SA1360 (Toshiba)

- 2SA1208/2SC2910 (Sanyo)

- 2SC2362 (Sanyo)

- 2SA1209/2SC2911 (Sanyo)

One of you know where I can buy these?

Greetings & thanks for insights,

Jesper

The Sanyo parts seem to be practically impossible to get. I suspect this has a lot to do with OnSemi taking them over.

Best regards

can be obtained from Kessler Electronic in Germany.

They don't have 2SA1209

Ulf

edit: Ooops. Sorry, I don't have a clue if these are genuine Sanyo or Toshiba.

Hi all,

Appreciate your feedback & suggestions!

@rephil: I actually know of profusion but they don't sell all of them ... But may be that I contact them to buy some.

@Ulf: :-) I was a good way to really smiling when I searched Kessler's webpages for components until I noticed what you also mention in your "edit" - that they may not be genuine Toshiba or Sanyo transistors. I contacted Kessler and apparently most come from the Chinese company ISC. Only a few are Toshiba - I've asked them which ones but have not yet received a reply.

So, I'm actually still interested - if one of you knows of a source for these transistors.

Greetings,

Jesper

Try profusion, I have purchased from there before although I dont know about the 2sa1208s they stock. As far as I know there isnt any second source on those so if they have them they will be original sanyos. Stay clear from ISC parts, real junk.

Hi again,

I've had a chance to listen to a couple of Sanyo transistors (2SC3411 & 2SC2362) and Toshiba's 2SC2240. Although to my ears the Sanyos have some fine qualities I overall prefer the Toshiba transistor for coherence. So as for now I'm mainly looking for suppliers of genuine Toshiba transistors in small quantities in Europe. Any tips on such a vendor?

Unfortunately, Profusion doesn't carry Toshibas.

Greetings,

Jesper
