Oh dear not this one again! You will not get 150 watts out of this amplifier. The SOA of the out put transistors will not allow it and they WILL fail. If you are lucky you may get half that 75 watts, but you will need a huge heat sink. This was originally "designed" by a guy called John Fisher/Tyrone and has never been tested at 150watts. Probably it stays there to support the production of TIP 142-147 ....i presume that manufacturing companies love it .....The average inexperienced user will probably blow some of them before he understands that this is a crap with a catchy title ...

OK Sakis can you have PCB Layout for 60-80W Power Amplifier by Rod Elliott
It is been said way too many times ... What i do with the P3a is for personal pleasure only ..the specific lay out serves my criteria and of course i am not willing to give away layout or pcb .
feel free to design your own ...or buy dirt cheap original from Rod
