Replacement for 2SC2238Y

I need a replacement for the 2SA968Y which compliments transistor 2SC2238Y, TO-66 body type. This transistor is used in the Harmon Kardon pm665 driver P.C. board PCB-3.
About as close as I got to checking a few hundred data sheets is the KSC 2073 which compliments the KSA 940.
Anyone have any better luck then what I have so far with converting the 2SC2238 transistor over to a new updated version?

If you add some additional cooling, lower power drivers handle as much as the 25 watters. (heatsinking of the drivers in the 665 is poor)
e.g. A1930/C5171, faster too.

I did see those, before I posted, but I had bad luck buying semi conductors of ebay.

Actually, since this is really working out well, can anyone cross one more set of transistors 2SC3281[o] or [y] and the complimentary 2SA1302 [o] or [y]
