Hi
...whether it is better to carry a coil in series with the output, etc..
It depends on the stability of the amplifier. If it is loaded capacitive, they could begin to oscillate.
You can find this out by letting them loaded with 100nF/8ohm test. 10 kHz square signal and slowly increase the level. If the amp now tend to swing the coil should provide remedy.

and this?

That is an Ebay clone schematic copy of Destroyer X's DX amplifier. In case you aren't aware, it already is well known to this forum community and there are several long threads that discuss it many times over, so you can read the original source threads of that design.

Are you just asking us about every and any amplifier schematic you find for genuine doubts about the designs or are you starting threads for lack of familiarity with the search button on the Home page? Just enter DX amplifier in the "Search" pop-up window and select the oldest thread; "Dx amplifier - my amplifier...." for this one.

Reading the original threads that discuss the important details and questions already raised by interested people is usually the best way to learn the good and bad points of designs as it is led by the experience of others who may be having problems getting their assemblies to work properly. If you have reason to think the designs you post don't work then please ask the designer about the specific doubt you have. If you are just seeking opinions about design features in general, you can find plenty of good discussion threads already here.

The best, or at least the most popular designs will be supported by long threads, sometimes running on for years. This is a good indication of what is likely economical, reliable and suitable for most DIY interests.
