try it and fid out

looks like you have 480va total for the two trafos, u can use that for parrallel/bridge gainclone amp using 4 lm3886's....disadvantage, you have to mount two trafos instead of one.....advantage, you can make a separate +/- 35volt supplies not possible with a ct, type....

All wattage figures adding up the same, you can get pretty
much the same results with 2 bridges (1 for each secondary)
off of one larger transfer.

pass - still alternating between Goldfrapp and Pirates of the
Caribbean.

Thanks for the reply Nelson,

Attached is the configuration of the amp/PS I have plagiarized from various sources. The amp is directly from National's application sheet AN1192. I built the PS and amp last night and how should i put it..I solved the PS problem. The amp, which I built verbatim heats up the "smallish" heat sink in about 4 seconds. Toasty. It also has a serious oscillation (motorboating). Starts low hz and increases. I have 2x1000 uF caps for each chip. Anything that jumps out as a potential problem?
