This Fletcher Munson Passive frequency contour circuit can be used to generate listening goose bumps even at child safe 74 db levels. I use steep LR8 active crossovers to showcase voice on one 80-3,000Hz speaker, and an active version of the F-M contour adds body at low SPLs.
The science behind Fletcher Munson helps to explain many audiophile addictions to plaster cracking SPLs. heh---could you speak up. |
