My #1 question is:
Fairchild has weirdly discontinued the possibility of HFE matching SC3503, SA1381--Current availability is KSC3053D and KSA1381E (no HFE match). Is this a problem?

Have just tested this amp with a 2pf mica cap installed as an LC cap. This made sound worse than when using no LC cap which it is now reverted too. I found there to be too much high frequency noise with the LC installed. Without it there is more bass and a better rounded sound.
