Default Amp for active X-over, what power needed?

I want to build an amplifier with an active X-over for driving a 2 way loudspeaker.
In case the X-over f=3kHz, what shall be the relation between the bass amp power and the tweeter amp power?

As far a I know a tweeter can handle only 5 Watt

100 W for the bass and 5 W for the tweeter amp?
