Default converting pbk640

I am just starting out here, so bear with me. I have been more of an amateur luthier, so this is new to me. I do have some basic electronic background, just enough to get in trouble. I was given an Executone PBK640 and F274K amplifiers by a friend recently to experiment with in building a guitar amplifier. As I am intrigued by the PBK640 being a 40watt amplifier, he did not have any wiring schematics or related info to help me identify the circuits, so I do not know where to begin.
Does anyone have any help for me? My internet search has been for naught to this point so any help is greatly appreciated?
