Default Literature/reference for MOSFET amp design?

I'm not terribly new to electronics, but I haven't done too much with transistors or FETs in particular. I want to design a very simple one or two stage MOSFET amp.

Nothing extraordinary. Does anyone have a good starting point for where I could learn about them? Theory of operation?

Thanks.
