I am starting a new project and will need an amplifier. The more power the better of course. I despise plate amps, so that's not an option.
I have a dayton audio APA150 already and it seems to fit the bill perfectly for another project, but I am always looking for other options. I need at least 100 watts and price is of main concern. I would like to keep SWMBO happy and when i spend too much cash on amps....it makes her angry! |

Uhm, there are lots and lots of circuits here for 100W amps. If you could narrow it down a bit it would help.
Will that be 100W into 8 ohms? Do you happen to have a box full of power transistors that you want to use? Do you have a suitable transformer for the power supply? Stuff like that... |

I am talking about buying something that is already built. I am not nearly smart eneough to build one. Maybe I posted this in the wrong area?
