Default A5: Loss of treble one channel

I have just noticed that my A5 has lost the treble notes on one channel, all inputs. Before I start delving too deeply (I have the skills to fix it once diagnosed) I wondered if this was a recognised problem. Also, is there a test routine for finding such issues? I don't want to spend too long fixing it, or a lot of money, as I can get another on ebay for not too much! I have the circuit but not a service manual.

Thanks for any help
