anyone has a view on those pro amps? they are mostly sold in Europe as I understand.

Yes, I own 3 of their S1200 models. This is rated at 380watts into 8 ohms, 600watts into 4 ohms and supposedly 720watts or so into 2 ohms.
This is a very stable amp. Its sound is quite good but not good enough in the mid-range compared to anything you could build in the low wattage category. Compared to other budget PA amps, this is a good investment. In my case, I feel the need for more power. I will soon attempt bridged Leach and Silicon Chip's 500 watt amps to overcome this handicap. Dynacord also has their "L" series amps such as L1600 and L2400 which has a slightly better sound and more power. By the way Dynacord is the German sister concern of EV in the US.
