I use 8 Marantz MA6100 as amps for an active loudspeaker setup, 1 has the problem, the relais seems to work, but no sound, when power off, one relais (near the front)clicks straight away, another (at the rear) clicks about 3 seconds later, can it be a relaisproblem, if so where can i get the Omron P5GA-28 24 volt (when i read it correctly)relais?

Its not the relay.
Its probably bad caps in the signal path. The MA500 suffers from low to no output simply because the caps need changing. |

Hi
Thanks for the reply, I already changed all the suspected caps, that was not the problem, the output terminal is bad, i use banana plugs and the minus terminal did not connect to the board....now i put in with screw all is well, relay was broken though, I replaced it with an old DEC DH2TU 24 volt relay, just used the backpins, there is no problem fitting these, the holes are already on the board. Tojoko. |

The output terminal are a common problem with ALL the newer Marantz products. Glad to hear you got it.
