I’m refurbishing an old Classe DR-4 preamp. It contains lots of large yellow coupling caps with a black stripe on one end indicating they are polar. The circuit diag also shows these caps as being polar. However they look a lot like film caps to me. Does anyone know what construction they are and whether they are likely to require replacement?
