The Krell KSA/KMA series of (true) class A amps were well regarded and their JFET input stage has been seen as a positive.
Could one of you amp enthusiasts help me mod this? I'm keen to understand what they've done in the Input stage, whether further CCS's or cascodes or other nifty mods could be done. So far I have added a CCS to the Zener's that set the 38V and 75V lines with definite benefit in the form of better details/lower noise floor. Thanks Ryan |
