Maybe i've been inhaling much to many solder fumes but I'm having trouble building a simple power supply..

I have two 12.6 v CT transformers, e.g 6.3 V for each half of each transformer. I want 25.2 volts for two rails, + and -, .. how do I get this?

I have:

T1 +
CT
+

T2 +
CT+
+

and I want to get:

+ ~25 V
-

Should be soo simple but nothing i've tried works..ack!

Thanks in advance. -Arnach

Arnach,

You can put the primaries in parallel and use the secondaries without the CT so that you will achieve two 12.6 secondaries, use an voltage doubler at each secondary and you will have 2x25.2VDC. I think would be another ways to do this, but it seems to be very easy on this way.

There is another thread started by Pixie in power supplies forum with more information about the matter.

Regards
