I have a cyrus 2 where the balance control is not working anymore or working badly. There is no separation between the channels when I am turning the knob.
Can anyone point me in the direction of the faulty component? Could be the pot off course, but coudl it be a bad cap or a bad transistor as well? |

Hi 02dag,
Normally the centre (wiper) connection of a balance control is connected to signal ground. Perhaps the potentiometer is faulty, or the ground connection to the centre pin is open-circuit. Regards, currentflow |
