Hi,
I am repairing an old NAD 208 mosfet amplifier. It originally had BUK437-400B mosfets for its switching supply on the amp boards. It looks like it was repaired at some point and IRFP350 were substituted. Is that a suitable sub or is there a better substitute? Thanks! |

The BUK437-400B is a 400 Volt, 11 amp max ID 180 watt mosfet intended for switching supplies. Its probably discontinued. The irfp350 looks to me like a ideal replacement and is better as its capable of more power.
