HI,
I have a Musical X-A200R which has started to cut out during playback. Sometimes on the left channel, sometimes on the right channel. It appears to be intermittent in that it doesn't happen straight away when you turn the amp on. I haven't been able to conclude whether heat is an issue, ie. some sort of thermal cut out perhaps? I was wondering whether anyone else with a Musical Fidelity has had similar issues, or whether anyone could advise on how to start "debugging" the problem. Any thoughts greatly appreciated. Kind Regards PS. So far I've replaced the main smoothing capacitors (they were bulged at the top-- clearly well past their sell by date!) |
