my best sound scene
comes from a standard toroidal transformer 230V / 12V (500VA)
connected secondary as primary in 1:20 ratio
with a current amplifier used in current feedback control

also an interesting approach. There are a wide range of different toroidal core materials - have a look to this thread:

Perhaps the transformers, that make a loud buzz by DC components on the mains, are to prefer for such an approach.

Which influence to the sound are here to observe by the various core versions? That I want to know.

I am using a RS COMPONENTS

I think it's the power of 500 VA to make the sound quality
and of course the structure of the amplifier power (Jfet input)

correction (NFB) with the equalizer output shunt resistor
and breaks down the emphasis of primary

I assure you that the result is amazing:p;):D
