Hi Members, looking forward to your research findings. Posting some pics and new developments to whet the thirst will go along way

Is it possible that SYMEF leads the pack ?

Default Slow but still keen

Hi Harrison,

Just to say I am meeting my buddy who is going to build up my SMEF's next week.
It all depends on how long it takes him to source all the BOM parts and how busy he is on the run up to Christmas...I would love to have the amps playing before Christmas but maybe January is more realistic.
Cheers
Derek.
PS Sorry I keep forgetting to open a Pay Pal account...Tomorrow for sure!!

Could there be a formula that when used on an amplifier results in an amplifier that excites your emotions and imagination . There is no better time for you to join us. Your experience and feedback matters.

Time for a little update.

I think "my" SYMEF is more or less finished. Some tidying had to be done but I just keep playing record after record.

A really great amp.

Well I have not used my tube amp since I started using the Symef..
Still in my setup the Gain is kind of high and have some plans for next year..

Have a really great Christmas..

And now the dcb1 buffer is finished with a lightspeed ldr attenuator as volume control in front..

Perfect. Dead silence with no signal. Explosive dynamics with signal. Just great.
