All,
I am investigating to upgrade my current (commercial) amp with a diy one, and I would like to go for a separate pre/power amp. Pre-amp: I have a LV Aikido pre/headphone amp (24V), which I would initially like to use as the pre-amp, leaving me to build a power amp. Speakers : Audio Physic Tempo 2SE (modified) + Audio Physic Rhea I active subwoofer. Sensitivity of the speakers is quite low, I recall something like 83-85dbm Given the sensitivity of the speakers, a solid state amp seems most appropriate, i assume. I was thinking of a Pass F4, but maybe there are other power amps out there that pair well with my speakers (and pre). Thanks for your advice! |
