I have a Behringer eurolive powered speaker B205. I connect a source and turn on. I heard sound that attenuates to Nil in about 2 full seconds. What are main causes of this sort of problem?

Probably som point in the signal path is floating and charges up to some DC voltage that squeezes off its ability to pass signal.
I would use all the various jacks, inputs, outputs to see if we can determine which parts of the system still work, and which do not. Inside I would start with a check of operating voltages - any missing? Then I would check the output pins of any IC for unwanted DC. |
