Hey fallks,i want to build a simple yet efficient power amplifier , one that i would use for my room witch is not so big,and using the amp. with high SPL speaker boxes . Just read and read and i just can seem to take a decision on wath to buil,i want it simple , and not a big power for it ! Can someone help ? Thanks !

So much depends on your abilities and construction skills... and on what you call simple.
Would you make your own PCB's for example ? or do you want something that has PCB's available to buy. Sounds to me like you might be better off with something like a chip amp (LM3886 or similar) built on boards that are readily available.

Yeah chip amp will be good for you. In transistor amps simplicity (of the schematic of course not in building) is in negative proportion with efficiency.

If you don't mind a little tricky soldering, something like the ADAU1592 would be a good candidate.
If you want easy, plug&play I'd probably go with an LM3886. ~Tom

Thank you all , yes i have build allot of pcb-s by hand all kind of methods. I build my electronic "gadgets" from scratch,from single or double sided ,from permanent marker to laser printer,feeryc chloride etching,1mm drilling,soldering,etc. but im out of ideeas !
