Hi,
I wonder if anyone has done the thermal calculations for what is the maximum enriched class A bias for AB ? compared to standard optimum biased AB. i.e. how much class A can you run within normal AB biased 1/3 continuous power heatsinking ? i.e. that no extra heatsinking is required, static heatsink temperature is the same as the the 1/3 continuous power soak test. And what would the two output stage heat dissipation profiles look like ? I cannot work out if extra heatsinking is always needed or not ..... rgds, sreten.

I have not done the calculation but there should be plenty of info to allow it to be predicted.
Try ESP.
