This thread is dedicated to Andrej's LAZY CAT SSA fully balanced symmetrical topology with the various output configurations as discussed in the associated thread Lazy Cat Simple Symmetrical Amplifier.
This thread aims to contain schematics, bills of materials and PCB designs of the various tested configurations born out of innovation and cooperation amongst the DIYers for future reference and builds by our members. I trust this thread will become one of those standard designs that just outperforms anything else out there and a good place for beginners and experienced old hand alike to start with a superb product that will provide years of music pleasure. I trust that you find these reference designs as useful and as satisfying as I did. Kind regards Nico P.S. Thank you Alex for your contribution here, we appreciate your dedication and sharing your ability with us less gifted. |

Is the thread name confusing? Maybe restart it as Lazy Cat SSA References?

Hi Nico
![]() Maybe the thread name should be SSA L-Mosfet Basic That would be the thread where yours one pair lateral mosfet version is explained and to be supportive to all potential builders of that exact version. All other SSA versions should start also as separate threads with exact name and explanation. In this thread I think the story would be the same as in original one, not to be as concentrated on the specific topic as we would wanted. ![]() After certain time we could of course start a collective thread like this to gather all versions below one roof. What do you think? Last edited by Lazy Cat; 25th August 2011 at 09:22 AM. |

I would think the original thread would be for the basic mosfet amp LC and this thread would be for schematics BOM and building information on the different variants, specifically the "big bwoy" version .....
