I just purchased a PS Audio Delta 100 in what appears to be great shape
however after 20 minutes of useage with my Apogee Calipers the right
channel made a noise ( as if cold solder joint) then a loud hum of which I
turned it off. Later re ran this channel into a standard speaker and works
fine. The only point I notice is a DC offset on the bad channel of say 1 to
2 volts at turn on ( first time power on from cold ). Secondary turn ons
voltage is low and normal .045 V DC. Have an idea something is opening up
but trying to avoid damage... The Apogees are working fine with original
amp as well and believe the load of current could be a cause of the problem
with the Delta 100... Any thoughts and or directions.

As a side note both channels run quite warm at idle...
