20~50W amp

Hi

does anyone know a good amplifier circuit (Power around 20 to 50W)

I currently have an amplifier with TDA2030 Ic and it has a noticeable noise when music is not played (too much hiss)

I need a circuit with a very clean output ( without any hiss and very very low distortion)

I'm interested to have something like this ampbut of course in range above)

I built this 300W amp and I want something like this amp because it has no hiss or else at all

It would be great if I can find the parts of the amp easily.

If you want a really low noise, your best option is to go discrete: you can decide what input transistors you use, and this in the end determines the noise level.

With an IC, you're stuck to whatever is on the chip.

Regarding the residual noise, here is what a builder said about it:

Letting this channel run and listening to some select songs, I can say it sounds very good. I hooked up a better test speaker as well. Very musical, and the highs are crisp and liquid. Crystal clear.

Time to get the rest of my work done so I can get the other pcb done and listen in stereo.

Also, I am still using the small test supply with crappy filtering and bypassing. So, I expect another improvement in sound once I get a proper supply connected.

One more thing to add: The amp is absolutely dead as a rock silent with no signal. Ear crammed up to tweeter or woofer and I can perceive nothing.

It is also very tolerant on parts, without compromising quality.
