Question Amp is not bi-wired Speakers are :(

Hi, I bought a CA Azur 650 A + CA DacMagic at the weekend, it sounds fantastic out of the box .. but there’s a down side L its not a bi-wired amp, and I my speakers are. Could I modify the amp to become bi-wired, it already has 2 sets of post for a second room setup,, ( reason I thought it was bi-wired ..doh !) or should i build an external cross over.. or just leave the post connected and single mode. Which do recommend ?

I don't think that a 'bi-amp ready' amps exists ,maybe a few ,and only DIY !!
So you just need to attach two wires on the same plug .
And use the 'search' feature ,because the argument has been talked over and over ...

Just get banana plugs that can be stacked and plug them into your amp.

Do the dual terminals have jumpers? Show us a pic if you can.

It's easy to mix up bi-wired and bi-amped.

If you connect one set of cables to the receiver's "Speaker A" output and the other to the "Speaker B" output, be aware than many receivers when put in the A+B mode put the A and B speakers in SERIES, which will not work correctly (though it will make sound and won't hurt anything). If your Sony was like this, the "correct" bi-wiring to your new amp will make these speakers sound quite different!
