Hi Guys,
I was searching the web for a rail lifter/boost circuit ala TDA1562q scheme but couldn't find any (maybe I used the wrong term). The idea is to incorporate it to an existing power supply so it can be reused to power an amplifier for more "headroom" The scheme is to momentarily "series" a charged capacitor during peak signals (music) with the supply. (I had several 24VAC-CT-24VAC @6A from old amplifiers). Any inputs are welcome. Thanks.

Rockford Fosgate probably uses this on their new BRT (boosted rail topology) series car amplifers. Like a car with NOS http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z6M-itzlRJY
