Lateral output amp with jfet input
Here is a first draft for a amplifier idea using lateral outputs and the 2SK711's from Zero Cool in the input stage.
Suggestions on improvements are gladly welcome. Schematic: http://i.imgur.com/BAUu5.png

A cascode for Q1 collector....emitter to Q1 collector, base to gnd, collector to R8. This places similar Vce across Q1 & Q2 so that they have similar temperature reducing thermal drift.

I actually had that cascode transistor at the beginning, dunno why i removed it.
