Smile.
I believe some emir can desire-it as a power reserve for easy 10 W listening ?
I have seen several Ferrari in the Doha supermarket.

Nice reasoning Christophe. If a rich guy wants a 1KW SSA for easy 10W listening, I think the 1KW monster won't disappoint him. \m/

Thanks Shaan.
In fact it is more overkilling to drive my 98 db/W speaker with a 125W amp than a 88 db/W one with a 1Kw amp.
Sad you cannot make a barbecue on the moving coils in the first case.

The emir guy might also suddenly want to make an induction heater with the 1KW SSA(it's totally possible with the available bandwidth). All that is needed is a 500KHz sine source.
