Default ADCOM GFA-585 simultaneous distortion alert

Hi folks,

my 22 year old ADCOM GFA-585 recently blew my 20 cm bass driver of my right Dynaudio Confidence C5 during convenient volume (not too loud).

Now the yellow Simultaneous Distortion alert LED (right channel only) is always on, even with no speaker connected. Unuckily three out of four DC rail fuse sockets are broken (due to age, I´m afraid). So I can´t check the fuses. Left channel is absolutely o.k.

Is yellow distortion alert LED a hint for one or even two blewn DC rail fuses ? Does anybody have a manual (readable for dummies) how to change the fuse sockets without damaging the amp ?

As I come from Germany (Bavaria), it will come out difficult (and expensive) to get the amp fixed in the US or even asia...

Thank you all in advance for your kind support !

Best regards,

Andy

A service manual is listed here,
Adcom GFA-585 | Owners Manual, Service Manual, Schematics, Free Download | HiFi Engine

free and reputable site. Just register.
