Default Counterfeit transistors ?

Has anyone bought transistors from Suburban Electronic Wholesalers in Maitland, Maryland ?
I ordered a 2SA1264(PNP) and its complement 2SC3181(NPN) and received the right part numbers, but the 2SC3181 was a PNP. Definitely mislabeled and maybe counterfeit.
Maybe that is why the mislabed transistor was $0.99 while the other was $2.68. Should have stuck with audiolab.ga , have had good luck with them in the past.
Just wanted to pass on the info so others won't get burned.

For to-3p's , get twice the semi for 1/2 the price. Mouser.com/ON semi NJW0281/0302 would sub the 3181 with same Ft/hfe - 2 X SOA , just $1.91 and $2.10 . better plastic package too (you can drill em') , I use them for ALL OEM BJT replacements (never a fake).

NJW0302G ON Semiconductor Bipolar Power

NJW0281G ON Semiconductor Bipolar Power

Can't beat it.

Do you prefer them to 2SC5200/2SA1943?
